I want to help you take your “okay” relationship and give you the tools you need to make it a great relationship. Even if you are struggling with communication, or conflict right now, but you both really want to work on understanding each other, repairing the relationship, and moving forward, I can help you with that too. You might need to consider something more long-term when looking at the packages though.
One of my passions is marriage, without a doubt. I’ve had 25 years of personal experience in mine, in addition to my education. Let me be the first to say, that relationships are HARD WORK!

What can I expect from Christian Counseling?
Christian Counseling is also referred to as Biblical Counseling.
Christian Counseling is based in a Biblical perspective and therefore can utilize prayer and the Bible as a foundational truth in counseling.
If there are deeper, trauma-based problems or mental illness challenges, I will refer you to a licensed clinician in your state so that you can get the best care possible.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
My goal is to provide the best possible service to you so that you can meet all of your goals. I put a lot of time and effort into our sessions, and behind the scenes too. With that said, there are no refunds on completed sessions. Unfortunately, there is not a one-size-fits-all counselor so if you don’t feel like I’m a good fit for you, that’s okay. Let’s talk.
Booking sessions and paying for sessions at the time of booking commits both of us to be at the scheduled appointment. Thankfully, with the convenience of the internet, it makes it easier to make scheduled appointments without as many interruptions or cancellations. Know that when you schedule an appointment with me, as soon as it pops up in my calendar, I put that time aside and block it out, along with 20 minutes on either side of that appointment. If you agree to it, you will receive courtesy reminders through text and/or email so there is less of a chance of forgetting the appointment, as well as the fact that you have already paid for the session which further commits you.
I also understand that with the convenience of technology, there are also the occasional glitches of technology that are uncontrolled by any of us. If technology were to interfere with our scheduled time, we would likely need to reschedule that appointment in that case. If that occurs, we will try our best to reschedule within the same week.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellation notices are required 24 hours in advance in order to apply your full session payment to your next scheduled appointment. If canceled within 24 hours from our appointment time, you will be responsible for a $50 last-minute cancellation fee.
For packages, we will try to maintain the correct number of appointments within the given month. As a general rule, and to keep things simple for both of us, I don’t roll over sessions to the next month’s package. If an appointment needs to be canceled at the very end of the month and we have no other alternatives, in that case, we will roll the appointment into the next month’s package. All other requests for refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
How do the video sessions and messaging work online?
Thanks to technology today, we can use video, or phone for our sessions. If you have ever used Skype or Facetime, it’s similar. The video platform that I use is also encrypted and confidential, so no worries there. When you finalize your package purchase, you will then be taken to a calendar screen to schedule your first session with me. You will receive a reminder email with a link and log-in instructions, or a phone number to call. When it’s time for your appointment, just go to the web address and log in with your provided log-in credentials. I’ll meet you there. It’s real-time so I can meet you anywhere!
As far as messaging, it’s obviously not required to use it between sessions. However, it’s a wonderful opportunity to keep in touch and ask questions, tell me your “wins” or for accountability and such. The great thing about messaging is that it’s leisurely. You can respond when it’s convenient for you and I can respond when it’s convenient for me. I will always do my best to respond within 24 hours though.
Can I upgrade my package after signing up?
Yes, you can upgrade your package to get more sessions at any time after purchasing your package. Just talk to me about it or send me an email, and tell me what you want, and then I’ll help you get set up.
Are our interactions confidential?
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept any form of insurance.
What form of payment do you accept?
Payment processing on my website is done through Stripe or Paypal. You do not have to have a Stripe or PayPal account in order to purchase a session. They accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover, as well as your bank cards. You do not have to set up an account with them in order to pay.
I will also accept payments through the Venmo app. If you would prefer Venmo, please message me about it.
